Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

well I failed big time today.. I went back to that antique market to buy something I saw yesterday, but I while I was standing chatting to someone, I looked down at a table and right next to me was this big French glass bowl,  the sticker on it said French glass- unsigned- reduced from $78 to $50

I picked it up and i  could clearly see that it was signed BAROLAC, so I had to buy that too  Woman LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

I have been looking for aboust 12 months for the right wardrobe for our bedroom.

Now I just have to gt rid of the old combination one we have.............which means we have to pull down the bed to pull down the wardrobe............so we may as well paint and clean the carpets too.

Bad timing though..............it is our sons 21st in the coming days..........so no doubt we will have a bit of a house full of his mates................(I wonder if they can paint?)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  I love your new things Deb and Flashie.  I had to give up my pretty old leadlight wardrobe when we moved in to this place as we have built ins.

Deb, I've never heard of Barolac but I love the bowl anyway.  Is it like milk glass?

I went shopping yesterday too but I only came home with sushi.  I still have a $100 gift card from Myer and I need a new bag but they still don't have anything that I like.  I will have to go to the city for the good stuff and their suburban stores just aren't as good and they don't stock as many brands.

Re: Round Table Revisited

morning Joono,

google French glass and have a look at the images, it's not like milk glass, they call it opalescent glass, it kind of has a bluish and brownish tinge to it

Have fun spending your voucher, I would  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

I've had it since Christmas Deb!  I have bought a few little things in Myers but I'm waiting until I find something a bit more pricey that I wouldn't usually spend the money on.
