Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Nic  it's a shame you had to go out in the cold today. I hope they got it sorted for you

Hi Laney. your internet is sorted??

we had to call foxtel the other day and their call centre is in the Phillipines- so many call centres are now. We were lucky we got quite a good person to deal with though

Hi Deb

Indeed it is sorted!

Thankfully Smiley Very Happy

It must be very difficult for some of those call centre staff when callers have some difficulty understanding them - not a job I would relish.

Sounds like you are all experiencing some chilly weather over your way - I heard that the temp got down to -12 in Goulburn last night.  Always was a cold hole in winter but that is ridiculous lol

Ooooh we do have awfully cold weather Atm Laney, go on, tell me how nice it is over your way so I can try and imagine it 😀

I've been mostly grounded this week, trying to shake off this cold or whatever it is

If it helps you Deb, it is not cold over here (around 23 atm) and sitting here in shorts and a sleeveless top Smiley Embarassed

It has been cool in the evenings but great for sleeping and we have had a few showers through the day.  Forecast is back up to 25 mid next week lol

I bet there are some folks breaking open their piggy banks here in Freo - Leeuwin Barracks in East Freo are being put on the market.  They are right on the River with just a road in between - opposite one of my favourite (and Prim's) little cafes called the Zephyr - it is suggested that it would accommodate at least 250 individual home sites for premium housing Smiley Surprised

*rattles the piggy bank*

Nope - not quite full enough Smiley Frustrated

Your weather sounds perfect... So much development going on here Laney. The trend here is to build apartments on corner blocks , on main roads... So many of them going up, purchased off the plan by overseas investors I think.

Can you still go prawning in The Swan?

Round Table Revisited

Hi folks. It's been a looooong day. We drove 200 k up to Perth this morning to pick up grandson and partner plus almost 2 year old great grandson who arrived from Brisbane at midnight last night and slept at DS and DIL's place. After a quick coffee we then drove 200 k back to Bunbury with them. I'd forgotten how full on 2 year olds are. He slept for about an hour on the way down and spent the rest of the afternoon racing round the house strewing toys everywhere, shreiking with laughter at the top of his voice and chucking the occasional tantrum. I think the excitement on top of the traveling were just a bit much for him. He's tucked up in bed now and hopefully he'll sleep really well tonight,  To top everything off grandson's younger brother and friend, who live in Bunbury,  came over for dinner so it was all go in the kitchen. I think I'm just about ready for bed myself..
