Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good morning on a wet cool day -

Deb my Pikelets recipe- I took a plate into my dear old neighbour - lovely to see her eyes light up.

1 cup sifted SR Flour

a pinch of salt

1 tablespoon of castor sugar

1 egg

3/4 cup milk

Sift flour into bowl add castor and pinch of salt - beat egg and milk together add to flour mix mix

until smooth - I like to set aside for about 1hr but it's not necessary.

Better move off to the Urologist today to get results from my bladder/kidney ultrasound and see if

I can convince these Doctors all is OK it's the BC meds causing these problems.

I think you can actually freeze pikelets Debra, just not the way I made them .... it's possible I forgot to put the raising agent in as I only ever use all purpose flour and added baking powder and/or bi carb and was in a blazing great hurry.

The shape they ended up was something to behold with fright!

Good morning Ladies and Mia`s

Some exciting news from me and hopefully the procedure will be a success..Monday week I will be going into hospital to have Endobronchial Valve Treatment.Bit excited but apprehensive at the same time but if all goes well I should be looking at a marked improvement in my breathing which will give me more confidence in living life like most people take for granted(not winging)

Off to Yea today to spend a couple of days with Jack and Tom.I hope everyone is well and I am also looking forward to my boys playing in the finals this year..GO CATS!!
