Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Fingers crossed for you Nics. it does sound really hopeful.

I have a  post op check for my first cataract op. on Wednesday. It seems to have been really successful, so I'm now rather looking forward to the next one on 15th Sept. then  I'll be able to get a new glasses  prescription (hopefully I'll only need them for reading now) At the moment I'm rather in limbo..

Good luck, She-Ele. Cataracts and new lenses helped me for a while, but unfortunately I have macular  degeneration that cannot be cured and will mean evntuall full blindness for me.

With new glasses after your eye surgery, you won't stop reading. Everything will be so bright and clear. It's great what modern medicine can do.

Nicnacs, We will be thinking of you and sending healing thoughts your way on Monday. Have heard very good reports about that treatment. Hopefully it will change your life for the better.

Big hugs to both of you.

Erica

Thanks Erica. fortunately my eyes are pretty healthy apart from the cataracts and after the first op even  the one floater I had has gone. I am very, very, lucky.  I  can't imagine how I'd cope with macular degeneration (not nearly as bravely and  graciously as you, I'm sure,) Heart

TGSE it sounds like the first one went well which is fantastic!  Did you end up having a general or a twilight anaesthetic?

Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of either, Deb.

I enjoyed Vera too. Though the ending was a bit sad. It did show though how far reaching the pain and heartache are in homicide cases.

That's good She-ele, now you're ready for the second one

the next series of a Place called home starts soon on cable, but I can't remember when.. Maybe it's next Sunday. I always thought it was a bit unfair that it was first screened on 7 but was then purchased by Murdoch for cable (who has deeper pockets)
