Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Congratulations on such a wonderful milestone for you and Mr Elephant TGSE!

Lovely way to celebrate too - at the Backbeach.  These longer days would have enabled you to enjoy the view (as well as their Irish Coffee).

I have just received the Perth Festival Programme for 2018 - Nouveau Cirque du Vietnam are returning Smiley Happy

We are not Friends of the Festival so have to wait until 5th November to try and obtain seats arrrrggggghhhhhh

Half day at work tomorrow - I have to admit this week has been tiring and its been a little while since I have looked forward to the weekend.  I will be this weekend Smiley LOL

Will catch up with friends over the weekend - in the meantime please take care.

Happy Melbourne Cup day my friends Smiley Happy

Nothing planned for us re the Cup.

Deb, it is disappointing that the weather is not being kind to the racegoers today - will make for some 'interesting' photographs though.

Burnt out last week - too many days at work probably Smiley Surprised

A few days just chilling out recharged my batteries.  Not exactly chilling out though cos' we had the Kraken Festival here in Freo on Saturday night - bonfires all along the beach.  Kinda kooky actually.  Sunday saw a great regatta on the harbour ..... so good to see so much canvas as we seem to be overrun with stink boats in comparison.  We reached the stage where a boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money so decided to go 'boat-less' .........

Read about you visiting Bellingen Sandy - you really have picked up the local lingo 'Bello'.  I used to love that place and still have a straw hat hanging in the hallway here which I bought years and years ago at the market there.  Think I mentioned to you we were, at  one time, considering buying property along the Kalang River or at the Promised Land.  Did not eventuate (cannot remember why).  One door closes sort of thing lol.

Oaks good to read you and your OH are keeping a close eye on that infection.  Sure pays never to let any concerns pass without investigative action.  Hope the latest round of ABs kick it to the curb ..... and SOON!

Freddie - concerned about that other knee of yours and your ankle problems.  Hope your medico has some answers for you girl .... in the meantime leave your fancy footwear in the cupboard Smiley Happy

It is a beautiful day here today - a little rain very early this morning so the garden is smiling, the birds are nectar gathering and the willy wag tails are bossing them all around.  Funny little things they are .....

Dental appointment for me so better get ready Smiley Sad

Love that area laney.  We had a lovely lunch at the old butter factory where the birds sit on your table.  They have bought

plastic owls to sit on the tables and try and scare them off but they don't work very well Smiley Very Happy.

After we bought the new cat bib, we took the kids down the river and they had a paddle.  Lots of people and their

dogs there.

The cat bib really works.  It stops him from jumping the fence and we've had no dead birds.

enjoy the dentist Smiley Frustrated.

Hi Sandy and good afternoon to our other friends too Smiley Happy

Ahhhhh the old Butter Factory - was a favourite for us too. Difficult to dissuade any of the birds - we have the same down at Fishing Boat Harbour here lol.

Is Bellingen swathed in jacaranda flowers at the moment or has that passed?  The Jacaranda Blues were always a reminder of exam time in Sydney.  Our jacarandas here are only just coming into flower here and the exams are already in full swing.

Just saw the storms up your way on BOM - hope your beautiful new chariot is well under cover.

Never heard of cat bibs - aren't some folks imaginative, clever and creative!

Suppose you are finding the house very quiet at the moment with the family away - at least you can chase Frank around the kitchen without interruption Smiley LOL

Enjoy the dentist? Never - but at least I still have some reasons to go (getting less and less though lol).  Never liked electric toothbrushes - they feel like I am putting a jackhammer in my mouth - but he is insisting I use one for gum health Smiley Frustrated

Hope you housebuilders or housebuilder's Mum's are seeing some progress.  The Christmas silly season is fast approaching and it is impossible to get anything done then.  Our reticulation needs some work - it was not turning off this morning.  Glad I caught it before it had too much impact on the water bill (at least I hope I did).

Have enjoyed a few days break from work - back there tomorrow for a couple of days and then it is the weekend so that is not too difficult to deal with.

Freddie - get onto those tablets first thing tomorrow (not at night lol) and don't move too far from the house Smiley Wink

Hi Laney, first tab didn't work just went as normal. Will keep trying and see

how the swelling is later this afternoon. Cooler day here is welcome, an early

morning shower have the gardens smiling. My walks are on hold for now until

I get these health problems sorted. I miss my dear old neighbour it feels different

not calling out good morning and discussing the day ahead with her as she stands

on her front patio. Her daughters have returned home and will be back once the death

certificate is issued and things can move ahead. I have her lemon tree, birdbath and a

lovely little girl statue taking pride of place in the gardens - so will have a smile and

remember her often.
