Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

It was an exciting game Laney as I really didn`t expect Carlton to win but then that`s Afl footy! Who do you think will win today?

The girls are away till sunday as Maya has a yearly netball tournament in Mildura so it`s just me with the dog & cat.

Hope you are well 25c today

Hiya Nics

Have the dog and the cat accepted your new abode and are happy to be in there with you?  Sounds like a peaceful weekend for you with all the girls away 😀

Quiet weekend for us here too - a bit of gardening and reading - or simply doing nothing.  Sounds like a great plan to me!

Just had a fellow come to check our gutters and arrange a date for him to clean them out.  Neither of us dare climb ladders these days and with so many trees overhanging the house, they are full and even growing weeds!!!!  Thank you birds for distributing the seeds lol.  Lorikeets coming back now with all the natives flowering, rats have destroyed all the mandarins, maggies enjoying the daily walnuts.

Life is good thankfully 😁

I cannot get interested in tonight's match as I cannot stand either club - can you arrange for both of them to lose please lol

The dog likes been in here with me although I ended up putting him out last night cos he kept getting up all through the night needless to say I didn`t sleep well. The girls brought the cat in, he jumped out of Maya`s arms and straight out he went..keeps clear so far.

Footy is finished for me so I don`t really care who wins although a bit partial to Brisbane as Ange followed them.

It`s a busy time in the garden Laney the weeds are spreading like wildfire 🙂

Have a great weekend and hello to you too Kopes.

How did the netball tournament go Nics?

I too am partial to The Lions in the footy given the others who are left lol

Long weekend coming up here - King's birthday!

Perth Show starts on Saturday - great to have it back ..... bringing the country to the city!  Love the wood-chopping.

Lots of weeding going on here too - looks so good once the are gone.  The gardens are all mulched but the naughty maggies keep tossing it around and out onto the paths - looking for worms.

I guess both dog and cat are discombobulated with your move - hopefully they will get used to it and become regular tenants again!

~~~~Kopes~~~~ any more pics????????
Boo the the blues... but pics are great Kopes 🙂 Maya won all her games and played very well. It was so  hot for everyone in Mildura 36c  on the day, but lucky they were in an undercover stadium,  whilst it was in Melbourne it was wet and cold a bit like today.Heater on and I think electric blanket on later.
Well done to Ange's team Nics.  The blue-baggers looked like they were going well at the outset but it was not to be (sorry Kopes)
Grey and overcast here today - we did not venture out today - except into the garden to plant some tomato plants.  Sick and tired of the leather skinned ones you get at the supermarket so decided to try growing our own ...... just had to find the right spot in full sun for them.  Fingers crossed they survive and produce good crops 😁
Hope you are both well Nics and Kopes and enjoying your long weekend.  Thanks for the additional pics Kopes - they really are super!
Brisbane were simply better on the night.
Collingwood v Brisbane, maybe Victorians reluctantly cheering for the Pies me tinks.
I will probably put some cherry tomatoes in some pots today.
And Lane, it's next weekend that's a long weekend, Friday. 👍
