we've had quite a lot of rain here overnight & I've missed being able to go for our nightly walks for the past few days., but can't complain, the weathers been great here really.

Laney when we were first married OH was offered a job in Nauru but I woiuldn't move there. This very nice man kept ringing me all the time trying to talk me into it because he really wanted OH there. I don't think OH regrets it now

Hi Laney.  I've been up to Bunnings today and loaded up the swift with concrete slabs and I've been laying those under the fence line.  I need more slabs and I don't know whether it's going to help but I will get some more soon and try to finish the job.  

They are not those full size slabs.  They are about a third size slab because I don't think I could do it with the biggies but they should be heavy enough to stop him moving them.

Anyway, I'm not taking any chances yet and his vet appointment is tomorrow morning.  Poor bubba.  Well... no bubbas.

It could be worse.  My son's friend's labbie did a Houdini last week.  I can't believe it did this but the dog hopped on a train in Kelmscott and got off in Gosnells.  Luckily someone called them and it's ok and home now.

Joono..........ages ago we had a Labrador X retriever................sandy in colour......and an absolutely gorgeous dog.

But she kept escaping...........no matter what I did she would get out.

I could never figure out how she did it....................until.............I saw her.................she used to climb the wood stack.......hop the fence....................climb down their woodstack............and push their gate open.......and off she went.
