Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

What's with the smileys tas?

Soul I've got friends who've been there. There used to be a guest house where they'd stay. I think the climate and environment is much like Darwin? (Judging by their photos).

I suppose it's not realistic to expect marvellous infrastructure and services such a short time after experiencing the massacres and long long war... but I've heard it's a whole lot better than it was, and on the way up. It's a tiny place too, so they're probably relying on aid while they work on educating their people and growing their economy.

Maybe your friends stay further back in the hills karen?  Could be more tropical looking there but OH is in Dilhi sp, and it's just dust dirt few scrubby trees, nothing like Darwin ( he works in Darwin a lot).  Next Sunday he's going to ask his driver to take him further afield, so it may be a lot nicer.

He was looking forward to a meal on the menu at a restaurant near the beach "Portugese Steak".......thought it would be nice and spicy.....it ended up being steak, eggs and chips hahahaa!!

Round Table Revisited

hi everyone

yes, it's sad about the possum, we found him on the footpath outside our house late yesterday, looking very lost, so I took off my cardigan and he just ran into it. I had hoped he and his mother would reunite last night, so i left him in my cardigan under a tree near the spot where we found him. he survived the night but it's cool today and wet so I thought I'd better bring him in to keep warm.

Soul Timor sounds awful. I would've expected it to be lush, green and tropical too

Hi Deb

Sorry to read about the little possum - at least you tried.

Just checked our forecasts here - gosh, golly, gee - a whole week without rain!

I know that sounds awful given the need for rain elsewhere but bear with us here in the wonderful west - we risked getting webbed feet quack, quack Smiley Wink
