Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Iza, I hope you realise you have the sweetest young lady for a daughter. Other children would tantrum.

An early morning Stringers

50 years ago today John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

For those who were around then, it is one of the events in life that most can remember exactly where they were when they heard the news.

Good morning Stringsters

Yes Laney, I remember it like it was yesterday. I just arrived in Nyngan and was about to get out of the car when I heard the radio broadcast.

Enjoy your Friday frolics ๐Ÿ™‚

Rain and thunderstorms here today.

IE is down for me at the moment which is annoying as I had so much in favourites that I can't access at the moment.

Have a good day everyone

Morning Prim

I was with my Mum - driving across the Cahill Expressway Smiley Surprised

Our local ABC started the day playing all the great songs of that era!

Anyway, enough of these reflections ..... I have to get ready for work.

Hope you are able to stay indoors today Prim, given your weather forecasts.

Catch up tonight hopefully

Good morning everyone.  I do remember it Laney.  Not much but I remember my mum being a bit shocked.  I didn't think my memory went back that far but it was something that everyone would have been discussing.

I remember Churchill's death more clearly but I would have been a bit older.

Hi Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope Flashie is ok...I don't remember her being naughty so it must be a real life issue.

I can't stand watching that slow motion video they keep showing on the news where JFK was shot...his poor wife! And that photo of his son ๐Ÿ˜ž

It is also 50 years since the first Dr Who show. I was too scared to watch it when I was a kid and used to sit with my eyes squeezed shut and fingers in ears when my friends insisted on watching it lol

I still don't like it, but it's a monumental effort for a TV show to last that long.
