Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

I have a petrol mower and a hand mower too, Deb...my idea is to mow it short with the petrol mower, then keep it short with the hand mower. Unfortunately, in two years that has never happened lol

It's a really big lawn, so by the time I hand mow half of it, the other half has grown too long. Also, older people often stop to give me advice when I'm hand mowing,,,so I always stop for a yarn ๐Ÿ™‚

I think my plan was similar Karen, but now I can't even start the petrol mower, so it's just the hand mower for me these days. I got most of it done, not all though. I got a blister on my hand and gave up lol

The older people love seeing the hand mowers still being used, I bet they do stop and chat too

I know how hard it is when the lawn gets long ๐Ÿ™‚ but it's kinda fun and the results look neater. One old bloke explained it was something to do with the blades scissoring instead of chopping...it didn't make sense to me, but he insisted its true...so it must be.

Oh goodness, I forgot the main info ๐Ÿ˜„ if you can't start your mower, try kicking it. I couldn't start mine and it really stressed me out because neighbours were offering unhelpful advice about women and mowing grrr...so I did the modern woman thing and googled it. Google told me the main reason for a mower not starting, after fuel, was loose spark plugs...

So I located the spark plugs and they were loose...now it starts every time. I had loosened them by kicking it too often lmao

It does make sense, sort of, what he said, but I'm not trying it with scissors to find out lol

Haha @ the loose spark plugs, OH checked those last time I complained, but I still couldn't start the thing. He did with only one try. I have even ended up sitting on the ground pulling that darn cord thing, but I still can't start it up.

I paid the teen next door two dollars to start it for me lol. Cheaper than paying him to do the whole lawn...besides, he always sets the blades really high so he has to return sooner, this earns more money. Hmm I noticed the lawn mowing man also had the blades high last time he cut it...hopefully not for the same reason.
