Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

I read quite a good book about a secret... The secret history ๐Ÿ˜„ it caused quite a kerfuffle because the author had a highly amusing name. I hope your daughter's book is just as good (minus the consequences lol).

I got her latest book from the library Karen - I believe it is one of her best.  Pity about her name though - I would have changed it and just kept the surname lol

Oh I dunno, Laney, I like the name ๐Ÿ˜„ it's funny.

Leigh Sales has been reading that book and tweeting about it. I think I'll buy my copy on eBay ...eloi's emoticon...

And about that other thread...I think the term is " projection " ...when a person projects their own behaviours onto another.

Hi Prim

Sounds like you had a lovely lunch in good company Smiley Happy

Yes - that's the one lol

Karen you had a bird in the chimney ....... I walked out onto our front verandah and a rat ran up into the jasmine Smiley Mad

At least it was out the front and not around the newly planted lime tree out the back which they ringbarked some months ago lol

I have been putting off putting out baits but this has spurred me on now!

On a lighter note....

Today I was reading through a job applicant's answers to the Selection Criteria.

One reply was....... "In my previous role I was exposed and learned a lot to do with medical terminology."

Haha love it, Laney...did they get the job? ๐Ÿ˜„

Ohhhh I do not like rats (sorry Flashie lmao), but be careful to buy bait that doesn't kill other animals that may eat the rats. I've had to rescue kookaburras and owls that had eaten poisoned rats or mice and it's a slow, painful death ๐Ÿ˜ž

LOL Karen ..... concentrate!

It was Prim who was reading the application lol

I hate the idea of baits too Karen which is why I have been putting off using them.  I have a few traps which I will try first but the other night we had an errant cat on the front verandah and you can bet that the cat will get to the traps before the rats.

I have seen some other traps - more ecologically sound and less cruel (if there is such a thing) so might scoot round to my local hardware store tomorrow and see if they have any in stock.
