Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Tomorrow afternoon Laney. We are not driving so will be getting there around book-in time as we are going to catch the train and don't want to be walking around the city wheeling our cases behind us:)

I am off to do some work as I won't have much time over the weekend. Have a good night everyone

We took our son out tody to have a look for a new couch for his computer area............and some how I ended up buying us a new couch!

I will show you a picture of it tomorrow night when we have picked it up...........we got it half price.......someone had just returned it as they said it did not recline properly........darned if I could see it...............and half priced suited us fine.

I do not think we have EVER had a new lounge before.

He ordered a futon and it will take about 6 weeks to come...........plenty of time to finish off his area.............he is sectioning off a part of the huge garage at his sisters place.

Is he intending to sleep on it?

Have you ever slept (or tried to sleep) on one?

Arrrrrgh - my back aches at the thought of it - tried one a few times - nearly killed me lol

....it was years ago too so not age related lol

I don't think he plans on sleeping on it............I think he just wants something comfortable for his Saturday nights when his mates come around to play playstation games/

No I have never slept on one............and hopefully I wont ever have to find out if they are comfortable or not.

Good morning Stringsters

I have slept on a futon and yes, they are uncomfortable. Only overnight and it was years ago when the comfort of beds was not such an issue for me, but I still found it uncomfortable. Maybe if I had to sleep on it for a longer period I may have got used to it but I suspect not.

More fine weather here today.

Good morning Stringers Smiley Happy

Well at least they will not fall asleep while they are playing their games Flashie lol

Even after years of bushwalking and sleeping on river beaches, tossing a swag down or sleeping on a thin foam sheet when backpacking, a futon was just too much for me - when I want a real bed a futon just does not fill that bill.  It reminded me of the old kapok mattresses - lumps and all lol

Showers here again today - nothing much planned so I am not complaining.

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing and Nics - hope you are on the up and up and going home soon.
