The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

lol @ Easter when we went away, we had to sleep in sleepng bags on the floor. Never again lol

Were you expecting that or did it come as a horrible shock for you?

we knew, but it was way more uncomfortable than we expected 

it took a couple of days to recover.

We had a similar experience sleeping on beach sand when bushwalking

I used to think that it would be quite comfortable to sleep on - until I tried it lol

I expected it to 'give' with movement - how wrong I was!  It really is amazingly unforgiving lol

haha we didn't think it was very funny, especially getting up off the floor in the morning, it was darn cold too lol

amazing how hard carpet and sand can be

we were going to take our air matresses with us but we couldn't fit them in the car as we were driving a couple of other people and all their kuggage as well

and we thought that we'd manage OK... but.....   never again lol

Stop it Deb - you are just making me laugh more - even though it was not a laughing matter for you at the time lol

Being cold would have certainly exacerbated your discomfort lol

At least you are lithe and agile - getting up off the floor these days my knees grumble more than just a little lol lol
