Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

We had one of those  rainy days that makes you want to stay indoors if you can. I did a bit more wardrobe sorting today, but so much more to do

what about the Olympics,  the Aussies have only been there for a few days, fire and theft already. It doesn't look very friendly over there in the streets, an impeachment going on?

I am looking forward to the Olympics.

Laney............you mentioned that dirty word..........paper work.

I have my meeting on Wednesday........and I have nto done the paper work or written my report again.

Well I survived my first AFL game..............If I have to watch a game it is far better to be there in person than watch it on telly.

Gee some people take the game really seriously.

There were two ladies behind us who refereed the WHOLE game...............I laughed to myself for the first half.............and wished they lost their voices for the second half.

I am still catching up on the washing here..............they boys didn't do any while I was gone.............not that I thought they would.

But our youngest son can get through most of his (extensive) wardrobe in 48 hours......Cat LOL

I have a funny feeling Ringo had the run of the house while we were gone.

I found his blue feathers in the lounge room.

I suspect they left him out overnight so he didn't wake them up early after their night out on Saturday.

Hi Flashie Smiley Happy

You went to an AFL game - was it in Launceston? I wondered where you were. I agree it is more fun going to a match except for the very vocal supporters (like the ones behind you) and the crowds in general lol

I have been AWOL from our matches this season - probably a good thing.

Ringo?  Blue feathers?  What have I missed?

Paperwork - the bane of our lives Flashie.

Good to see you Smiley Happy

Late dinner here tonight - coral trout coming up.

Catch up later or tomorrow

Yes Laney...........I went to a football game.

I actaully didn't mind it too much.

We were sitting nearly behind the goals..........and in a Hawthorn fans area.

There was a dedicated group who had flags and drums and all sorts of stuff........every time Hawthorn scored a point or goal they would all stand up and do this drumming routine.

The two ladies behind us would yell out Carlton every time the drumming fans yelled out Hawthorn.

Ringo is our youngest sons new pet...........a hand reared Indian Ring Neck Parrot...........and it is like having another child............he gets into so much mischief..........(bit like our son)

Here he is.............climbing hubbys leg because he heard him open a packet of chips................hubby only has a packet of chips about once a month when his salt is too low..............but the darn bird knows what they are..........Cat LOL

And here he is eating my candle.

fffffffffrrrreeeeezzzzing Smiley Indifferent

G-g-g-g-good afternoon Ladies .... at least it is warmer at home than it was at the office.  My sister sent me some fingerless gloves as a bit of a joke ..... the joke is I have been using them lol

Was just checking BOM and Smiley Surprised at the way they have changed the words they use to predict rain so they have an each way bet ........ possible, increasing, easing ...... weasel words for 'don't rely on our predictions'.

No news to speak of - trying to get motivated to think about dinner

So glad the first one came back too Flashie - what a beautiful colour he is Smiley Happy

oops - good afternoon Ladies Smiley Happy

Hope you managed to get all your 'p'work and your report done in time Flashie.  I got embroiled in 'matters insurance' today - so damned boring but so necessary.  Have managed to pose a few questions for our brokers and push the topic off my desk for a couple of days to give me some breathing space lol.

I was planning on taking tomorrow off - to finally get that replacement light shade Deb ................. but the best laid plans - you know how it goes Smiley Sad

Forgot your family were Hawks supporters Flashie .... no further comment Smiley LOL

Waiting on a 20 page tome to land in the in box for correction dammit - there goes a peaceful night watching nothing on TV!

Saw the schedule for the Rio opening ceremony today - 6am here in the west but that is just about manageable and not to be missed.

You lucky t'othersiders can sleep in a bit Smiley LOL
