Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

At last we're getting some warm weather Laney... We still have the heating on at night though, which is unreal at this time of year

A perfect weekend here in the wonderful west!

Good afternoon Friends Smiley Happy

Hope you had an enjoyable catch up with your friends on Friday night Deb ...... Indian?

Our favourite Indian here in Freo has closed.  It just came out of the blue so no opportunity for a last feast there Smiley Sad

We went to the WASO performance of the 'Messiah' on Friday night - always goose-bump material for me.

Got into some gardening work yesterday which was very satisfying.  It was overcast in the afternoon and ideal for being out there.

Today we got rid of the 'evidence' as we do not have a green waste collection until January.

Love this time of the year - went to the annual Christmas bazaar at the Arts Centre ..... always fun and some fantastic art and craft to purchase ...... in such a lovely setting under the trees in their courtyard.  Very crowded but a good kind of crowded and came home with some lovely purchases for my kin.

Now it is feet up time .... listening to the cricket .... and chilling out in preparation for the week ahead.

I suspect you are all busy with Christmas preparations!

We have been friends for too long for me not to guess Deb Smiley LOL

Good afternoon by the way ..........

The joint is jumping here in Freo today - the Ovation of the Seas (biggest cruise ship ever to visit Australia) is in town and I think the whole of Perth drove into Freo to see her arrive this morning and it has been going on all day!

It is ENORMOUS and looks like one of those live sheep trade ships - but for humans .... not my scene at all. Those cruise ships are like floating RSLs to me but that is lost of folks here in the west as the RSLs here are very different to back east.  Still I know many people enjoy them - good luck to them.

Just in from the office and looking forward to a day off tomorrow and lunch with friends up in the hills.

Beautiful weather today and it is heating up towards the end of the week.

I keep wondering whether you have put your beautiful tree up yet this year ....... did you every find those fantastic bows you used one year and thought you had lost?  They were so beautiful!

DFES have just issued a 'watch and act' for the Roleystone area.

No inconvenience possibly having to change venue for lunch .... major concern to those folks in the area.

Fingers crossed for them.  There is never a preferable time for this sort of thing to happen - it's just that Christmas time seems somehow much worse.
