Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Hi Nics

You are so correct - a wonderful voice!

For anyone who likes elephants, consider checking this website out - the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust ..... not only elephants though.

They do a fantastic job of helping out wildlife - their staff are amazing with them 🙂

Enjoy - if you dare to look lol

Hi Nics

It has been a long hot summer but the first AFL match this evening heralds the start of a change.

Doubtless there will be some not happy to hear it is back but then I hope they will find other activities to keep them entertained lol.

I wonder if Deb and Kopes are watching their boys this evening.

I was driving home from work and enjoying the broadcast on the ABC - made the traffic coming across the Narrows Bridge almost bearable 😁

Enjoy your weekend when it arrives Nics 😃

Morning Laney you most likely are still in bed asleep! Going to be a nice sunny day 24c but the heat returns tomorrow 37c. Couldn`t believe the game last night ended up a draw, the only good thing is both teams got themselves 2pts. Here`s hoping Geelong have a good win against Collingwood tonight, as I hate the woods with a vengeance.

Hi Kopes I know you still post:-)

You have a great weekend too Laney😊

Hi Nics

Up early in this household but we had not even got into the office hahaha

Beautiful day here and a cool night tonight ........ warming up again for the rest of the weekend and next week.

Little to comment on with the match tonight Nics.  Sorry it does not look the best result for your Cats, particularly with only a few minutes left.  Like you, I dislike the Magpies with a vengeance!

Our first match is going to be interesting against the Saints given their new coach hahahaha

Morning Laney & lurkers. You would be disappointed with the footy last night, only early days I know but it`s still nice to have a win. I think it`s been awhile since St Kilda was on top of the ladder.:-) getting cold over here now I think our warmish weather has gone.

Have a great day 😁

Hi Nic

The first two matches of our season have been disappointing - Derby Day this weekend so only hope we can show the Eagurls the door !

We have kin arriving from the East on Monday - an avid Saints follower so glad to have got THAT match out of the way despite the result haha

Was just reading about the death of Paul O'Grady - he was too young.  Remember him in the Battersea Dogs Home programme?  He really was a hoot!

Hope all well with you Nic - we are anticipating some much needed rain over the next couple of days - the gardens sure will be smiling if it eventuates.

Always nice to see you here - its a calm and peaceful place thankfully 🙂

Morning Laney,

The sun is out but not sure how long it will last, 19c today but still nippy. We have quite a bit of rain and the garden is looking good, some roses are still flowering, here`s hoping you get a good soaking.

Yes it`s a nice peaceful place here but it would be nice to see some "old" posters posting too!

Good luck for your dockers Laney I am hoping the cats can turn around their losing streak:-)

Hi Nics

Not a good result for your Cats but really pleased we have broken the drought over here - the Derby is always one to win over here in the West against our arch-enemies

The Tigers are just above us on the ladder - not the usual place for them .... sorry Kopes and Deb 😞

Did you remember to change your clocks?  Would love DST over here but impossible in a state of this size.

Know what you mean about some 'old' posters Nics - I don't get in here often enough to keep it all going these days 😞

Easter is close - have you got all your choc bunnies sorted out and ready?  We don't eat a lot of chocolate here but with kin arriving tomorrow guess I will need to get some into the pantry lol

Are you going up-country for the Easter break?

H Laney, Congrats on the Dockers win you must be very happy 🙂 I hope it`s the start of a winning streak! Geelong on the other hand are very disappointing so far this year, their seconds team got thrashed on the w/end. I have seen  them win 4 flags so maybe it`s time to re build and get some newer players. Gotta say don`t like where we are on the ladder atm and we have to play hawthorn this week, another loss I bet.

Going up to Fiona`s farm in Yea on Easter sunday. It will be good to catch up with everyone.

take care xxx
