Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

skippy skippy

Debra it was between the glass door and the screen door so it was safe, we think it might've come in on a block of fire wood. It was only little but it made a screaming noise, I thought it was the tv or a possum at the window.

Here's a pic of a possum I disturbed when I was trying to cut proteas yesterday

morning Clair,

poor little thing Was it one of those little brown frogs??

We've got plenty of possums here too, I'm not so keen on the brushtails, but the ringtails are pretty cute. The brushtails live in our roof

No it was kind of light grey/green we see those frogs all the time here jumping across the road in the rain lol

The possum was a ring tail

Hard to tell from the pic Clair, it's tail looks big and fluffy, must be the branch I was looking at

The ringtails usually nest in tress, in summer I have to watch out for them because  my ex feral cats sit under trees looking for them. Well, one of them does, the other one just watches that one hunting

Cool possum, Clair! I like possums, but not when they fight. I used to have one that sat on my fence by the footpath and when I'd come home at night it'd do this growly hissssss at me, OMG it would make me jump.

I have a large green frog in my bathroom. He likes to hide behind my towel to hear me scream when I get out of the shower lol

Make the most of your frogs and possums because areas can change so quickly.  The traffic is much heavier in our road now since traffic lights went in at both ends.  Especially peak hour.

I haven't seen a possum around here for a few years now and I can't remember when I last heard the frogs croaking.

you're right Joono, we do need to look after our native animals, so many are disappearing due to a changed environment. We watched something recently about koalas living in tree plantations that are being logged in Vic. Not a good scenario for the koalas Smiley Mad

We have a lot of frogs here, there is a small dam down the bottom of the block and boy the noise at night!

I just looked at the frogs of Australia guide I reckon it was a small tree frog or a Eastern common froglet
