Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

Round Table Revisited

Good Afternoon Everyone Smiley Happy

Hope everyone is having a good day so far.

Fingers crossed that the puppy turns up Karen and that he is given a good home at your place .

Nice sunny day here after thunder and lightening last night.

It had our house shaking lol.Scared my DD and our Staffi

It's pretty quiet around CS at the moment isn't it ?

Hi Claire,I've heard frogs make those sounds Claire...when I was young and my family lived in QLD for a couple of years ...I often heard the green treefrogs  do that accompanied by my Mum's scream.....when she jammed them in the screen door .

We have lots of brown bushland frogs (not sure of the correct name ) here...they have a habit of getting into our fire fighting pump (dogs water bowl and anywhere there is water ) which we keep down at one of our dams. They can be really noisy at night at times.

My DD is home again today which she is furious with me about. She is almost better and defianty  insisted this morning that she is fine but the cough is still there at times so just giving her the extra day ...for her sake as well as the health of her classmates. She is feeling like I am atm...sick of being housebound. The Dr wanted a blood test done today if she wasn't better.I had thought that we wouldn't bother as she is almost there but thinking that we will get it done just to be sure ...she did admit to me earlier that her cough seems worse sometimes.

The lamb sounds yum Buzz .I don't often see what I think should be classified as 'lamb' ...I know it'd probably be different if I got all our meat from the butchers .

Hi Deb ,hope that your are ok and having a great day

Hi back Iza.  I've been out most of the morning and about to head out again.

You are probably doing the right thing by keeping your daughter home the extra day.  Sometimes you feel better at home and when you get back to work/school you realise that you aren't.  I hope it's all gone very soon.

Karen, I hope they find him.  Are you there or are you out looking for him? biggrin2.gif

Good afternoon Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚

Just home from a few hours at work - received an emergency call this morning for my assistance.

Oh Karen - I hope the puppy does turn up safe and sound and that he can come and live with you ...... I just know that you are secretly hankering for that too.  In the event that he turns up safely and they still want to keep him you are going to have to take action to get yourself another pup.  My sixth sense tells me it is time for you to take that step lol

Wise move Iza, keeping DD home again and I think also wise to get that blood test for her.  Also good from the perspective of fellow students - no point in spreading the germs around.

Now I have forgotten what everyone said so forgive me - I am not intentionally ignoring you all.

I am going to look for a 'suitable' pic of Clair's water feature.  The statue is disappointingly small - I always thought it would be bigger in reality (a bit like the size of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre).  The 'locals' dress him up in various different costumes every week or so. He was wearing an army uniform when I saw him lol.  You might be able to start a new tradition Clair and become the premier tourist site of your locale lol lol

I've been calling his name, "TRAPPPERRRRR JOOOOO" like that, but I suspect he got hit by a car ;( . I wonder if they bothered calling the pound. This morning when I saw her she hadn't thought of that and expected someone to call her due to his microchip.

I'll go up to her house tomorrow and check, then call the animal shelter before they give him the rifle.

Twice today I've tried making coffee with my little Italian gizmo and twice I've burnt it ... criez... So I'm drinking the second cup out of pure stubbornness and it tastes disgusting lol

Manneken-Pis.JPGManneken-Pis as Baden Powell.jpg

Here you are Clair - the first one is him au naturel, and the second one dressed up as Baden Powell.

He is a huge tourist attraction in Brussels (probably one of the most photographed) and I hope does not offend posters here after all they are supposed to be over 18 years old!

Do you think you could replicate him at your establishment?
