I don't know about anyone else. but I nor our business, is any longer buying anything remotely Russian.

This is not so much choosing to take a side, but merely not wanting to be seen as condoning recent events.

Do you know what the blue and gold/yellow represent?  Apparently it is wheat fields under a blue sky (sometimes sunflowers).  I saw a picture on Facebook a couple of days ago of an older Russian woman on a bus (in Moscow I think it said) wearing a blue headscarf and a yellow blouse in silent solidarity with Ukraine.

There are harrowing stories appearing on social media about some of the young Russian soldiers (conscripts)  being told they were being sent to Crimea for peace keeping and finding themselves in Ukraine being forced to kill and be killed.

Sydney Opera House and Parliament House flaunted the colours of the Ukrainian flag to demonstrate support for Ukraine in a clear, visible way; it can also be taken as defiance against Russia but in particular against the Russian invasion. Please don’t try to read something into my post which isn’t there. It’s hurtful and upsetting.

I'm just going to accept that in good faith, that's your position. I hope you can accept in good faith my position. As I said (and I'll repeat here), ❝Sydney Opera House flaunted the colours of Ukraine last night; Parliament House did the same. Those things don't do anything tangible to help Ukraine, but they are symbolic and such symbolic gestures are worth making. I'm proud of Australia's response in being ready to condemn this invasion, and of the help Australia is offering Ukraine.❞ There is absolutely nothing in that to suggest that I am denigrating the sporting of colours on public buildings as a gesture of support.

Good news: FINALLY President Biden earlier today announced that Russian planes are banned from US airspace. I didn't think he would do this, but after the EU and Canada had done it, the pressure was mounting for him to take that action in spite of saying earlier that he wouldn't.

Mariupol is under heavy attack at the moment, but it's still in Ukrainian hands apparently.

This YouTube video by well-known anti-scammer-call-centre IT specialist kitboga shows examples of this happening, and he explains the process of using tags and "war" footage and apparent live-streaming of the invasion in Ukraine, and how TicToc is "recommending" these videos.

So... check before you donate. Be cautious. Let's make sure our donations go to the right fundraising account, not a private bitcoin wallet posing as the official bitcoin wallet set up by the Ukrainian government.

This is now - going to effect all of Europe - if he is allowed to continue.

Why those that have them - don't stand and aim - all of them - fair into Russia - we give you 1 hour to stop or take the consequences.
