Hey all,
I am having sound issues with the Skype app on the tv. It worked at first, but yesterday I could not get any sound out?
I ahve no clue what is causing it - any ideas?
(please dont provide negative reviews etc, I have spent the money and am happy with my purcahase) I am just ahving this minor hiccup

hey Cherples, I found out from my son that my exisiting dvd player wont work with 3D dvd's, that have to buy a blu ray player
he also says i can watch everything on the tv in 3d setting but it wont be as good as watching a 3D produced show....
does that make sense?
somoutmon the weekend to buy a blu ray player

Yes, that's the other reason I haven't bothered with the 3D feature. My old player doesn't play in 3D 😄
And you're right, normal programs on 3D are not much good.

Yes, there will be. I love the online aspect. There is always something good to watch. I don't know what Samsung have but Sony has a good selection of pay to view movies. I love the catch up TV channels too.

so does the online movie content have 3D movies?
I have no idea aboiyt any of this t-box, type stuff. Is it via satelite?
I have a blu-ray player but it's a few years old. I don't think it plays 3d 😕

ah well, some things dont change hey? i wont tell you about my proofing and editing before i posted
if i could spend 2 days in front of the tv to,learn everuthing that would be great

Some online content is 3D, not a lot yet though.
I just plug mine into the ethernet cable to router and broadband connection. I don't have a TBox or use Telstra (who are the suppliers of TBox)
I don't have a blu ray player, only an old DVD player that gets used about once a year 😄
It's too old for 3D.

If you have it connected to the net there is probably menu items with standard Samsung options like Quikflicks, Plus7, music channels, etc.
I don't have Foxtel so have tried a few of the others. Some has free content with ads.
Mine is an older 3D and I've heard the new 4K curved ones have a better quality 3D with or without the 3D content.
