Samsung TV Curved 4K

Hey all,

I am having sound issues with the Skype app on the tv. It worked at first, but yesterday I could not get any sound out?

I ahve no clue what is causing it - any ideas?

(please dont provide negative reviews etc, I have spent the money and am happy with my purcahase) I am just ahving this minor hiccup

They look so good.  I want one too but I don't want the old one to break down just yet. I haven't tried it's 3D feature yet :D:D

that remnds me, it wasnt til this saturday just passed that my son tells me its also 3d (i wasnt there for the unpack and set up)..

i ahve yet to use 3D on it yet....

I wondered what the picture quality would be like with 'normal' tv. The film that was showing on the tv in the shop was stunning, but it would have been filmed in HD.

How does the 3D thing work. DO you have to hire #D movies or is there a channel that has 3D stuff?  I'm so ignorant of new technology.

I don't have a BluRay or any other 3D player devices but here are places to stream from.  I just don't like 3D glasses and don't have enough pairs to go around when there is a group present so haven't bothered with it.

normal tv picture quality is great. I thought the same as you that it would be in store dispaly...but its the same at home,

it came with 2 pairs 3D glasses and if we are having a group over I will buy more seems 4 pairs is a more reasonable amount

i think you hire/buy 3D movies, i dont know about downloading them, will ast Master S when I get home

yay, i have a solution!!

from the samsung community

In the TV menu -> sound ->speaker settings -> Auto Volume there is 3 options , off / Normal /Night. The default is off. This needs to be changed to normal for Skype to use the TV speakers

will give this a go

Yes, you can hire or buy 3D but I assumed you'd need a 3D device to play them through, not the old DVD player I have at home.  

Since getting online TV I haven't bothered with DVDs at all.
