Scam/spam freaky phone call from 0252525252

Don't answer it if they call you.

A lot of people are getting a call from this number. When you answer a voice says Hullo World.

If you try and ring the number back, you will get a disconnected message.

I have no idea what this is about. Hubby just got a call on his mobile from this number. When I checked on the net there are a lot of people getting the call.

Weird.

My phone is still listed under my maiden name so as soon as they ask for Mrs Smith I know it's a scam or telemarketing, I just say there's noone here by that name and hang up.

We have an unlisted number, hasn't stopped the tele marketers. Have been getting calls from a private number the last 3 or 4 days and as soon as I answer they hang up. It's unsettling.

I think the private ones that hangup immediately are computers checking to see if you are home. This information is then used by telemarketers' They know what time to ring you, to catch you at home.

Call your phone company and get it changed.

We use to get a lot of crank calls, it was dreadful, so OH rang phone co. told them what was happening, they changed the # in 1/2 hour, that was last yr sometime, and as I said, family only have the number.

Everyone else in business, dr. etc have our mobile numbers.

if you give your land line number to business, dr, anywhere, you dont know who will get your number, that is where we use our mobile numbers.
