Does anyone else store their soap in their linen press?
No?
Well I don't either, seeing as I use liquid handwash in the pump pack these days.
But my Mother used to. She'd always store her scented soap with her linen. Which scented her linen.
A while ago I stored some lavender candle melts with my linen which I just now put on my bed.
Making it up, the faint scent of lavender on my sheets was so nice, especially my Christmas linen. Green doona cover (for the Christmas tree) and white sheets (for the snow).
Note to self: get pine-scented candle melts next year.

I store all my little guest soaps, that I was given in boxes as gifts, in the linnen cupboard. Every year Xmas, Birthday and Mothers Day, I finish up with at least two or three toiletry gift packs.
What else does one do with tiny cakes of soap?
Erica
I do the same, Erica. I have little cakes of soap given as gifts scattered all through my linen press. Some have been there for years and I only find them when I'm rearranging the linen or doing a cleanout, or moving house.
By that time they're all dried out and have lost their scent lol.
As a matter of fact I have about 3 toiletry gift packs in the pressies I brought home from out family get-together today.
I wonder why ppl keep giving me soap?
Hmmm

errrhhhh.....
i sometimes stand next to people who apparently don't know what soap is for and do not know that you should wash yourself and your clothes at least every month or so.
instead they either go au natural with the aquired smell of many months of natural odour OR the think they do not need to wash because there are things called "perfume" and "deodorant" which results in said odour + stale perfume smell.
usually it's older people. maybe they don't have a sense of smell anymore but I would like to advise you/anyone to wash yourself and your clothes at least once a week.
