A FRENCH prisoner has been quietly granted parole in Indonesia in what Schapelle Corby's family says is great news for her parole bid.
Indonesia's Justice Minister signed off on parole for convicted drug trafficker Michael Loic Blanc late last year and he is due to be released from jail next week.

Schapelle was married in either 1997 or 1998 to a japanese guy, they separated in 2000.
This guy she married visits her every day, while she is in prison.
She had an Indonesian boyfriend, she never married him, he is an ex boyfriend now.
....there's another surfer who won't be there for Schapelle Corby when she's released - her former Balinese boyfriend.
Corby had been dating former fellow Kerobokan inmate Ben Panangian while she was behind bars.
The couple met in 2006 when he was serving time for drug offences. At first they were just friends and then became lovers.
Upon his release, Panangian - who now rents surfboards to tourists - would visit her every day and spend hours with her in the public visiting area.
But sources close to the Corby family said the relationship had broken down and Panangian hasn't been to see her in several months.
He would not speak when approached for an interview.

Schapelle is just one of many parole applications being considered this week.
INDONESIA'S Justice Minister Amir Syamsuddin is set to give an update on the progress of Schapelle Corby's parole bid on Friday afternoon [5pm AEDT], along with that of all the 1700 parole applications on his desk.

Did anyone else happen to see on either today tonight or one of the other "reputable" current affairs shows when they interviewed an American lady who visits Kerobacan most days? She was saying that it's not as bad as we are told, that whilst not locked up at night there are courses and classes and access to computers, most prisoners have their mobiles and that one of the Bali 9 Sukamira teaches art and drama to fellow prisoners. The woman finished her interview by stating that if she had to choose between an Australian prison and kerobakan she would choose the latter!
Yes, and I am reading ATM Hotel Kerobokan, written by Corby's biographer. It is an eye opener. Money buys trips outside the prison, to gyms, to hairdressers etc., (remember the photo of the Corby sisters at a restaurant), there is a weekly secks night, where men and women are brought in for dalliances in special rooms, all bought with money to the guards.

I saw it ............and now having a giggle at the "reputable" current affairs
I have never visited an Indonesian prison so, no idea what to believe.......maybe the truth is somewhere between the bad and the good.
