School enrolment.....how early did you enrol your child?

Master 3 is being enrolled now due to the waiting list.

Dependng on what school it is some of the Private school the child is enrolled at birth.

i think it was a year in advance.

catholic college for mr 12 a year in advance. some friends got their son in a month ago for next year at the college next door .(but they were lucky, possibly someone else dropped out)

My son was enrolled within an hour of birth lol ( my mother did it) to start in year 7. She had contact details for the chosen girls school and boys school, so as soon as she found out she called from the hospital. 12 yr waiting list!

my son is going to a better school than yours karen. (and normally there is a 37 year waiting list but i slipped them a few k and queue -jumped)

I had a friend who's mother was just like that and they were all enrolled at a private school. only they didn't end up going there after all. lol

twinks I think we were still deciding where to send ours when they were at kinder

I tried to prevent it, Deb lol...and that's why my mother enrolled him before I got my head together.

My kids were enrolled within 6 months of birth in their (private) school. We had to do it at birth as the school starts with preschool so they would have started at aged 3. They are both still there.
