Scott Morrison Really Needs To Learn Some Manners

Grabbing a woman's arm and making her shake his hand when she didnt want to do it, was NOT a good look, it's called assault   .... If he had done it to me, I would have had him charged with assault. He has NO right to do this to anyone

He also did to one of firies, he got up and walked out in disgust, cant say I blame him

He needs to learn to keep his hands to himself

Whilst it might not be fake news, it's certainly slanted. And not necessarily news.

Besides what do facts have to do with news being called fake? It's fake if the person shown in a bad light says it is. That's the Donald's interpretation, anyway, and if he didn't invent the term he certainly popularised it.

if they had've said who  he was and that they knew him, instead of pretending that he was just a local calling in... it wouldn't look so bad

I guess they were trying to drum up some support for Morrison....  it worked for some

I suspect it's fairly relevant to the people he described as 'no-hopers.'

"Kind of doubt that. They look like the kind of ppl who are cranky because their MJ crop burnt down."

Maybe because he sold their mothers alcohol while they were pregnant.

Or maybe they were a tad cranky, 'cause some of them had lost their home, farm equipment, shedding etc etc or could it be that the lady who refused to shake Morrison's hand had just lost everything she owned, had escaped the fires with he 2 yr son, is 28 weeks pregnant and was extremely traumatised by everything that had happened.   Could it be that they were feeling totally isolated and a little helpless and just needed/wanted the PM to care ( not stage a piccy promo ).

Icy you REALLY  have NO idea what life is like in the bush when everything around you is on fire    ..... Actually you have no idea re country people at all

Re: Scott Morrison Really Needs To Learn Some Manners

there are a huge number of ordinary aussies hurting like there is no tomorrow, i think we can all agree on that.

unfortunately we have a reactive govt right now, they dont look at the future only at todays front page story.

sure past govts can be pointed at and said 'well they didnt do anything'

but we are here now, 2020, and we require forward planning as well as well thought out answers for todays problems.

not bury our govt heads in the sand and keep saying 'theres no place like home'

my view is our PM is trying to do as little as possible whilst getting that 'shot or 4 second image for the 6 pm news'

'look everyone i'm here in the thick of it shaking hands and looking serious'

ive not heard him say

'this is why we have a federal govt, when things go really badly we step in and take over and see all the people damaged by this disaster have a tomorrow and a future'

'we will arange homes for everyone because we are australian, we help our mates'

'we will make sure everyone has money to buy the things they need'

'and they will not have to pay it back'

'they were/are citizens of this great country and the citizens not harmed by this via my govt will see them right'

'yes its a huge job, its MY job as PM to do my best to fix this'

'call in all the insurance companies and make them fast track payments'

'for those who dont have insurance, you too will be looked after!'

'i will call an inquiry to figure out the best way to be able to fight bushfires in the future as its obvious we are under recourced and cant cope'

'thats my promise as PM'

'there is no point crowing about surplusses when your people are dying and losing everything'

Very well said.good.gif

The big problem is that he hasn't said any of that and it makes him sound like he simply doesn't care and to

me it seems like that it interfered with his holiday and he's pee'd of because of it.

He literally does nothing until someone else obviously has a whisper in his ear saying that maybe this ot that

is a good idea and make it look good for the cameras.

For a bloke that's getting paid the big bucks there seems to be very little in return and the least amount of

effort put in to justify it.

A head of Government to show such little support and lack of empathy is a major failing for him.shok.gif
