Is full of it, how can a Minister go on and on and on, for what about 3/4hr, repeating the same ole over and over again without answering the questions asked of him? All he done was repeat his "crystal clear" slogan when in fact nothing is crystal clear except his Government's failure to stop the boats, as per their election promise.
Solved! Go to Solution.

But then of course if you’re not prepared to take the risks, don’t complain about the lack of hazard pay.
today i attended a birhday party for a veteran. i dislike parties and war, but i respect the men and women who have seen action.
besides, he's a terrific person. i think you'll find that most of the people here feel the same. at least one is the parent of a serving member .

I did NOT say that I begrudge anyone or their benefits.

But Debra they had documentation to get into Indonesia and then destroyed them before taking a risky boat trip. Why?

I was as critical of Abbott for his failure to follow due process whilst he was in opposition, as I am of those who seem to take the same path now.
I know from reading here in the past you are not a one-eyed poster . I'm not being critical of you're position , but i am extremely annoyed at the immigration minister.

Did you take that comment as a complaint?
IIt didn't look like a complaint to me, just a response to a an assertion.

I have heard that some destroy their papers but I've never heard that they all do it
where did you hear that they ALL do that??
really all this is way OT anyway, the point is that the immigration minister told the public a whole lot of rubbish and should be held accountable for being so dishonest

It's specious to compare the two.

Looks like to me that you take exception to the fact that service personal on operations, that is serving, in places where they can be shot at, are in receipt of allowances that they do not deserve.

poddster the questions/views you have posted to many times to count - all have been answered by posters, articles out of the press, experiences from asylum seekers, etc etc and yet the very same questions/views seem to be posted ad infinitum - obviously none of the facts are agreeable to a certain political bias so maybe you could do us the courtesy and answer your questions for us and save other posters from having to endlessly repeat ourselves, no offence intended.

So am I.
Performance to date, very ordinary at best.

Each to their own interpretation. I took it as being an addition to the points covered already.
