Scott Morrison

Is full of it, how can a Minister go on and on and on, for what about 3/4hr, repeating the same ole over and over again without answering the questions asked of him? All he done was repeat his "crystal clear" slogan when in fact nothing is crystal clear except his Government's failure to stop the boats, as per their election promise.

I keep asking, Boris, because not one person has answered the question of what they  would do in the case of a house invader.

Yo people have all skirted that question and gone of on a tangent.

Again i ask

What would you do about a house invader who entered your home and demanded to have all his/her needs met?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

But Debra they had documentation to get into Indonesia and then destroyed them before taking a risky boat trip. Why?

I have heard that some destroy their papers but I've never heard that they all do it

where did you hear that they ALL do that??

really all this is way OT anyway, the point is that  the immigration minister told the public a whole lot of rubbish and should be held accountable for being so dishonest

Some need to get fake papers to escape their home country.  They then have to destroy those papers before arriving here so they qualify to apply for asylum.

Doctor Al Muderis joined the Reserve to thank Australia. And, to offer his
orthopaedic robotic limb surgical skills to the ADF; thus adding to Australia’s
orthopaedic capabilities for use in both developed and under-developed
countries.

SQNLDR Al Muderis SR, shared his story with the Editor …
‘I’d graduated as a doctor from Baghdad University about two years before
the Hospital shooting – a murderous act that occurred within minutes of the
Iraq military ordering doctors to cut the ears from three bus loads of Iraqi
deserters. The doctor’s murder was simply to get our attention’.
‘Soldiers herded us forward to conduct the heinous act of surgery. A gap
in surveillance enabled some of us to flee the scene. I hid in a toilet block
and lost contact with the others’.
‘I headed for Jordon knowing that Iraqi intelligence officers
may not be far behind’.

‘I could hear soldiers searching room-to-room calling for doctors who
couldn’t be accounted for – my heart was pounding – my stomach was
churning – then came a moment of silence. I seized the opportunity to run
through the Hospital corridors to the outside world; I kept running until deep into the outer suburbs of Baghdad’.
‘I knew that there was no turning back!’

Doctor Al Muderis became a moving target as he travelled 100km across
country to the old family home, west of Baghdad. He contacted his mother,
Kamila Al Turck through relatives. His father, Abdul Razak, an Iraqi Supreme
Court Judge passed away in 1995.
SQNLDR Al Muderis said, ‘My mother was very distressed because Iraqi
intelligence officers had already been at the house looking for me’.
‘Mother quickly arranged for documentation that showed my profession as a
tradesman – she fed me – I rested – she gave me money and kissed me
goodbye’.
‘I then fled into the darkness. My dream to become an orthopaedic robotic
limb surgeon was under threat, as was my life ’.

Eventually he found his way to Australia, by boat from Indonesia.

Huge difference between voluntarily serving your country (unless you were Nasho) - and being remunerated for it - and the detention of these folk.   And your time under canvas at least had an end-game - you knew you would be "liberated" from these conditions at some time in the not-too-distant future, whereupon you could rejoin your community at large and have a nice ice-cold beer.

It's specious to compare the two.

Your responce

Looks like to me that you take exception to the fact that service personal on operations, that is serving, in places where they can be shot at, are in receipt of allowances that they do not deserve.

Nup.  My reference was that asylum seekers living in tents do not look forward to a cold beer or lots of $$$.   I was adding to the previous post, that's all.  Nothing personal at all.  Sorry that you are so touchy.

They are NOT house invaders. They are NOT country invaders. The Majority are asylum seekers searching for a safe home.

When are you going to answer a question, any question, asked of you?

People have answered your irrelevant question over and over, again and again.

DO a search you'll find it has been done, and done, again and again.

No answers are ever acceptable, unless they agree with the assertion that refugees are criminals breaking and entering into our individual homes.
