Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?

Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.

I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

Anyone  would have to be living in fairy land if you genuinely think eBay/mods would ever name the posters who report posts.

Nothing is going to change, better get used to that idea.

Actually one of mine had the well  the 'known person's ' name on the email I got in my bigpond.

It would appear that new words have been added to those not allowed to be used as they are

are nested in the category of either "disruptive, hostile, interpersonal."

" internet, guru, technical expertise, authority, no substance, plucking, NBN, lack, basis, misinformation."

It is a sad incitement of freedom of expression, when disagreeing with erroneous statements is deemed "disruptive, hostile, interpersonal."

It is also indicative that reported posts are not read in context.
