Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?
Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.
I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

Yes but 82% of the 61% was done by only 20% of the people on this thread.
I am sure the Mods and eBay could tell that if the vote was genuine or not as well as who voted for what 🙂
That would tell a story don't you think?

I doubt they'd bother looking too deeply into people who play with Internet connections, although it's amusing to see them looking so proud of themselves.

No, it wouldn't tell a story. The votes are made by too small a sample of all the people who post on CS.

It does tell a story, but not a true one.
Personally I think the multi id's are more of a problem

I agree with the multi-id's being a problem. Would make a difference here, if every person was only allowed one posting ID.

am*3one id per person has merit
