Do you think it is about time eBay had a close look at "Report Button Abuse"?

Some posts that have 'earned' slaps have been for smilies, words like, ..it, common denominator, maturity, Ranga, befuddlement...... and the list goes on and on.

I am sure everyone can add a few of there own that have been slapped, not because they violated board policy but because someone was bored and thought it was "fun" to press the button.

Apparently catastrophic, dysfunctional, tsunami, cliff, incompetent, posturing, spiteful, mendacious, genetically hard wired, excoriating, headless & any other words of more than 2 syllables is now considered by some on here as "hate".

Apparently anybody with even a modicum of language skills is accused of being hate filled.

I look at it this way, awakening the semi literate to the beauty of eloquent language, after all we have Google don't we?? look it up & learn is a good thing.

It's curious that the OP is worrying about post removals, but on his own forums he's removed hundreds of posts and banned all members who disagreed with his political views :^O It's ok tho, I'm still there 🙂 ;\
