What do you think? Mum is running alongside but not beside him.....

7 months, is he strong enough in the neck to be doing that? I know some babies walk this early but I don't know if I could allow it, even if he does like it.

He could earn money doing paid ads too.

When my kids were little, 20 or so years ago, there were those walker-trainer things ( you popped the baby in the middle and their legs touched the ground and they could push themselves around as it had wheels.)  They were very much out of favour with 'experts'. I never had one.

The reasoning was??  babies that can't walk yet, so shouldn't be using those, because they aren't naturally supposed to be in that position... I am guessing thats why.

Seeing that boy standing up on the ski thing, sort of reminded me of those and that he shouldn't be made to keep a standing up position before he stands up naturally by himself.?

Baby walker.  They have been banned in Canada for 50 years.  They are considered very dangerous, there have been many injuries and sometimes deaths.  The child safety experts here have tried to have them banned here.

Apart from the injuries, doctors advise no more than ten minutes per day in one, as babies' bones are very soft, and their legs can become distorted (bandy) very easily.  Physiotherapists can tell instantly when they first see a toddler walk whether or not a baby walker has been used.

You are right, Am, they are used as a babysitter, and the baby is not learning to crawl and walk naturally.
