For all those who keep repeating that Prime Minister Gillard has not been the target of sexist attacks since she won the last election battle what do you call today's events?
First the Army.
Then the Tim is gay attack on Gillard.
Are you really ready to accept these behaviours as the norm for your daughters and sons?

that's exactly what I was thinking!!
Are you both serious??
This is my place of work. I walk on a site or into a meeting in a professional capacity.
Would it still be OK if I was a female lawyer at Macquarie being wolf whistled by male employees as I walked past the IT room?
Would it still be OK if I was a female doctor in a hospital and I had to put up with being wolf whistled by male patients or staff whilst trying to undertake my professional job?
And why would I think (or any woman think) that being whistled at suggestively by a group of leering men be in any way complimentary.
Your acceptance of this is absolutely insane.

.
🙂
You are the perfect example of my earlier point - instead of understanding that the behaviour is unacceptable you point the finger at the women and act as if the perpetrators are the victims.

Refreshing to see that red blooded women still exist instead of those wishy washy facsimiles that try to pass them selves off as God's gifts 😄
Appreciation, like respect is earned 🙂

I was reading an article about militant feminists who wanted to ban all man from wolf whistling.
Some readers suggested that most feminists are unattractive 😮 Is that true??

More attractive i'd say.. a person that stands up always is, doormats go unnoticed.

Why don't you answer my other questions instead meep -

Where did I say what you are accusing me of, Martini?
on 14-06-2013 01:50 PM
I'd be offended if you didn't 😄
when your daughter is the subject of such sexism you'll continue to enjoy it, no doubt.

Umm. Post number 54.
Rabbit says I shouldn't be offended and that I should take being whistled at at work as a complement and as sign on my "worth".
Your response: "that's exactly what I was thinking!!"

Hmmmmm....... seems unlikely, otherwise they would not be whistled.
But having said that I have come across ones ony a mother could love, after being bribed that is. And I am no refering to physical appearence.
The chip on the shoulder is not exclusive to females when it comes to gender I have also come across some very "precious blokes" who are also of the opinion that they are God's gift.
