This question came up on the breakfast show last week.
Yumi has had 3 house guests in a week.
Normally, her household of 4 often use each other's towels.
As a child, she once slept over at a friends. When she showered in the morning she asked for a towel, her host said just grab any one in the bathroom.
Sami said erk blerk, no way, you don't know if they've been wiping down below last and your'e wiping your face with it next.
Does your family share towels?

Agreed. Still...there's something icky about using a towel still damp from the pevious person's use.

WE have about 4 towels going at one go so no one has to use a wet one. Not that I find it icky that it's wet but I like a dry towel particularly in winter.
But once they are dry, they're everyones.

We have our own towels. Even growing up our kids had their own.

Look, I don't share towels with my OH as he sometimes uses the towel to dry his hands that have not been washed properly......... I know this because his towels have to be washed after he has worked outside.....

No. Not ever or with anyone. Each person in the house has their own towel hanging up, they know which is theirs and they only use that one. I dont care how clean you are when you step out of the shower, there are things that shouldnt be shared.

Geez yeah, OH's son was staying with us for a while, he loved to tinker with car engines. He'd come into the bathroom, wash his hand and dry them on my nice fluffy white towels.
Grrr. Black handprints.
Anyway, he moved on, but I don't have white towels anymore. They show up everything.

Our kids had their own colour coded towels, it was then easier to tell them to go hang up the towel they used and left lying in a heap.... you knew who owned it, lol
