She Never Really Stood a Chance Did She ?

Been reflecting over the last few days about the state of affairs in this country.

From the moment Ms Gillard took the Prime Ministership away from the clutches of Mr Abbott she was doomed to fail. No matter how much she achieved she was never going to be allowed to govern .

All the while we were guided through the Global Financial Crisis, made the nation and it's economics the envy of the world. AAA credit ratings. Hundreds of pieces of legislation passed through the house. Apologising to the Stolen Generation  NDIS, NBN, Gonski reforms, and the list of achievements goes on.

Of course there were some concerns along the way within the Labor Party, but I was prepared to give the government the benefit of the doubt until these concerns were dealt with, with due process. Because I believe the government have the nations interest at heart.

It was all for naught with the destructive, negative, belligerent Liberal Party and the Murdoch owned papers with it's mouthpieces like Bolt, Hadlee, Jones, Akerman. The nastiest, hate filled propaganda flooding the internet every hour of every day. 

I fear for this nation for what it's about to receive as the alternative. An arrogant aggressive man and a front bench that defies belief.

I hope when the Liberal Party instil their AUSTERITY measures we don't end up like some nations in Europe who thought AUSTERITY measures were the correct path to take.

Yup, Me.

No amount of time is long enough for a closed mind.

It looks almost like bragging to proclaim so boldly that you called her incompetent from the beginning. Do you judge everyone so hastily?

How do you judge someone to be incompetent at the job from the beginning?

What is being judged?  Style, personality, bank account balance, hair colour, shoe size?

It's a shame so many were too closed minded to consider judging on merit rather than hysteria.

Judgement is based on the person's past performance and history and she took some very big missteps to start with. The Krud assassination and the carbon tax lie gives a pretty god indication of what was to come.

Downhill all the way from there. There was just no way she could ever excuse herself for lying 4 days out from the election & then lying for months saying it wasn't a tax then having to finally say it was a tax.

The voters will forgive most things if they think the person is being straight with them but from day 1 Gillard lied to us, every day, & she's still lying.

She has failed in her task to lead a party & failed in her duty of care for Australians & our national security.

She has failed us every day because of all the policy failures & then lying to cover up & moving quickly onto the next failure.

To sum up: Gillard is incompetent & a liar, nothing more to be said really.

Rubbish. She has lied no more than any other PM. They are allowed to change their minds.  The ability to negotiate and change your mind when more information becomes available is a good thing.

People don't like her because of the silly little prejudices they hang on to.
