quibbling over percentages isn't required to know the public get No say in the liberal leadership. it was in fact decided by the vote of Peter Slipper in the Liberal Party's case speaking of slipper, he made a good and valid point today. the point being if he was charged, in light of recent revelations they should all be subjected to the same. i think the case against him is going to end up causing quite a fuss or slip quietly into mediation. brandis will make sure of it i'd say.

Because they do not understand that % of one lot and % of another lot, should not be added together. If I have bag of apples and 60% of them are green and bag of bananas and 45% are green, that does not mean that 105% of my fruit is green.
I am not talking about apples and bananas I am talking about all of them being members of the Labor Party, we are just having a laugh, lighten up.

In case you hadn't noticed, the public get no say in the Labor leadership either.
However should I join the Labor Party I would get to vote for their next leader, now that is a great system.

I think it is silly that I can join a party and get a say in their leader even if I dislke the party and its policies.

Umarrr Bump, do you think Chrissy and Tone might have joined the Labor Party so they could vote for the new Leader?

I cannot think who you mean by Chrissy but I doubt Tone would bother, he would stand out because he is such a he-man.

he-man?
i did see no big sword nor a tiger he rides on.

well its hard to root out all the people who join for disingenuous reasons. joining last week or the week before wouldn't buy a vote anyway, as you have to have been a member for a year to vote. there has to be some safeguard against infiltrators with the LNP dirty tricks units that operate. in one Victorian regional election a person who stood as an independent won, and then declared they were 'joining' the LNP.
big stink over that.
