Shorten texts whilst driving

Can he be any more bumbling and irrelevant. Texting whilst driving and filmed doing it.

His go to answer? I have zero tolerance for using mobile phones whilst driving.

Is that like the zero tolerance he has for union corruption.

Last week he drove into cars and said he had spilt coffee, now we know he was lying about that too.

Happy Christmas Bill.

It would be nice if all posters had the beautiful dispostion of ecar because whatever she posts it's always non hostile and not to deflect.

A bit off topic but acceptable in the circumstances of harmony. Gosh I'm starting to sound like a mod. Man LOL

Now it looks like Shorten has started something !

Fed MP caught using phone while driving Federal government backbencher Sarah Henderson (Lib) has apologised after she was caught using a phone while driving. A photo of Sarah Henderson looking at her phone while behind the wheel in Geelong has been obtained by the Herald Sun, days after Opposition Leader Bill Shorten was fined and forced to apologise for texting and driving. "Last night, while driving, I looked at my phone. This was obviously the wrong thing to do and I apologise for this error of judgment," Ms Henderson told the newspaper on Thursday.

A fine and demerit points ???????

Sorry for going off topic with this entry, but I wanted apologise for going off topic in the first place.

Sorry.

Going off topic shows you, the originator of the post, and all the people who have made valid contributions to the post, a distinct level of disregard, if not disrespect.

My opinion, when it relates to the topic, is valid, but when it doesn't, it's as though I'm stomping around, shouting at the top of my voice "Look at me! Look at me! What I think matters and no one else's opinion is worth even giving consideration to".

It's wrong, it's rude, and it shows no respect for other posters.

Please accept my apology for cutting in the way that I did.

Thank you.

Where did you read that VP. Surely if a politician wanted to pretend he had  friends there would be a better way to do it than deliberately getting himself caught committing an offence. And if did happen to be   true, then there is no way he could  have deliberately arranged to be caught, because that would imply it was a friend who filmed him.

I think I may be right when I suggest that VP was injecting some HUMOUR into the story. Who remembers HUMOUR? Anyone out there remember HUMOUR?

A silly man, with a telephone, in a car, raises a chuckle.

Schadenfreude, my old friend, sometimes I miss you.

Humour? why bother when some would rather see something to get outraged about completly missing  your humourous post.

What Mr. Shorten did deserved an outraged response.

A leader of men should act as an example, not set a poor one.

I could say the same of a number of politicians, past and present.

High office comes with great responsibility.

I agree and I don't care who it is but the leader of Labor caught twice, once driving into 3 cars and nobody believes the coffee excuse.

Can anybody imagine if this had been Tony Abbott?

It's Christmas time and a dangerous time to be on the roads and yet he felt he was above the law and behave in a dangerous manner.

Obviously a tongue in cheek post by VP and I had a good giggle at it.
