Is this type of thing still going on? I thought after the "spelling police" had been exposed as bullies some would have learnt the lesson.
But if not: it's rude to correct people, it's rude to humiliate a member and their posting style as they may have a leaning disability or English is not their 1st language.
We speak MANY languages in Australia so your comment is wrong.

well we do predominantly speak English here. most people who migrate here also speak English or learn to speak English

broadcasting in over 70 languages.
and gov departments offer free interpreter
services.
