Agreed. To easy to fake going down. Funny how you can get a penalty for faking it to much.

Same here Barri.....huge Bruins fan.

Do you watch football too?

Patriots fan?

I don't like football also, what is it about that sport that makes people go nuts?

I never liked it either.... before I met my husband, but mainly because I didn't understand what was going on. Once my husband explained the rules of the game it became much more exciting to watch. There's a lot more to it than just men running up and down the field....there's actually a lot of strategy and skill involved in the game. Plus, knowing about all the different rivalries between players and teams makes it interesting too. Hockey is a great game also.....really fun to watch.

goldenjet.....I have to give the Blackhawks credit where it's due....they're an awesome team. I didn't much like losing the championship to them a few years ago, but they deserved it. I have a co-worker who's from Chicago.....we tease each other all the time about each others teams, but we've come to an agreement that I'll support the Bears and the Blackhawks if she'll do the same for the Bruins and the Patriots. Although I won't blame her for backing out of the agreement after monday nights game.

I finally had to walk out of the room......couldn't bear to watch the whole thing. Ebaycry.gif

Polly,

No shame in the Pat's, they have a chance to win every year.... It seems. The Bears fans cheer for a loser every year. Bears fans are still living off their last Superbowl, almost 30 years ago. Their still drinking the kool-aid the McCaskey's are selling them.

As an emblem of American cultural imperialism, the stetson should be banned here. We don't want to position ourselves as the running dogs of the USA, do we? . . . . . . . ooops . . . .too late.

" I'm lucky enough to live in a state without a helmet law" . That has to be the most ridiculous, ignorant comment I have ever read on these boards. Congratulations.

Spoken like someone who wouldn't understand the concept behind riding a Harley. I will  explain it as best as i can, This is not just about feeling the breeze in your face, laid back relaxing enjoying the scenery without being weighted down by life complications including the weight of a helment on your head, sure thats part of it, but it's bigger, it's more than that, much more. It's about freedom, an alen concept to many people I know, but Harleys are kinda a symbol of freedom, that includes making your own choice if or not to wear a helmet, not having some state or federal law make that choice for you.

In many ways I'm a slave, forced into almost a robot status, But when I get on that bike, a motorcylce or bicycle , makes no diffrence, and I'm somewhere there are no police, I kinda forget about all that and feel like a human, making my own choices, being my own boss. If I get killed because i'm not wearing a helment, it means I don't have to go back to being a slave and a criminal, also the added bonus of not having to go through a painfull recovery from a bike crash that would no doubt result in broken bones and severe injuries helment or not.

Those who know the risks and still take that chance might have a shorter life, but they live more than those who don't. I'm good with that.

.

Fun Factor : Now you have a choice in chat, factor that
