Oh my goodness, I could not sleep without a pillow. I need 2 pillows to sleep on, the topmost one I drag halfway down the bottom pillow. {if that makes sense}
I remember sleeping at a friends house not long ago and she had only the one pillow. It was most unpleasant. I ended up getting one of the cushions off her sofa and using that under the pillow.
I feel as though I am not able to breathe properly with just one pillow.

I do that too... don't know why though.
Sometimes, I just use the one pillow - the bottom one which is a memory foam one.
Havent tried no pillows, but do wonder if the wrong type of pillows for some people can cause neck/shoulder pain.

I hate pillows as much as I hate soft beds because I always end up aching all over if I sleep on one.
I'd rather sleep on a board or the floor than a soft mattress.
Better still, out under the stars with the moon shining over the gently lapping waves only a short way away and the coals of a campfire glowing.
Now that's a real GOOD place to be 😄
Talking of glowing coals .....
My campfire here is just about perfect for slapping a steak on now, so I best get to it.
The sea is only a stone's throw far from where I'm parked up for the night right now, and my little mate dog is looking at me as if to tell me she's ready for her steak too :^O
Nite all, sleep peaceful and dream sweet dreams of me 😛

Any for and against stories?
I have slept for four nights this week without one and the pain in my neck and spine has disappeared, last night I decided to go to bed with a small pillow and ended up removing it after a few hours for comfort.
I think I might stay pillowless 😄
How do you keep your neck straight without a pillow sleeping on the side?

That is why I went to bed last night with a pillow and started on my side, when I went to lay on my back I removed it as it was more comfortable, so I guess the answer may be to use a small pillow when on your side or sneak over to your husbands pillow but when laying on your back use none.
I have not researched it but it sounds logical to lay flat when on your back, there is no reason to have your head elevated.
