That is very interesting, Glee. There have been rumblings for a year or so. Same same as in Canberra. Some very ambitious men frustrated with the way the leader has been acting.
Trouble is Qld is soooo conservative still, and we don't do change very well.
Ms Palaszczuk is the daughter of an old long-time Labor MP.
Better still, she is taller than Campbell, but that wouldn't be difficult.
My shirt is ironed and ready to go.
Still don't know how to fix this.

I saw him on TV earlier and got the giggles because he reminded me of a toy tortoise the kids used to have. He was sort of stretching his neck trying to appear taller or something but with each stretch it got more and more tortleish.

The poll would likely be held in late January or early February, almost two months earlier than expected.
The Liberal National Party (LNP) will be trying to win a second term in office, after a tumultuous three years in power.......
The party has since lost five MPs, with three defecting to minor parties and two quitting parliament......
Recent polls show a significant slump in support for the LNP, as Mr Newman also faces a stiff challenge in his own seat of Ashgrove.
Labor candidate Kate Jones, who held Ashgrove from 2006 to 2012, announced in September she planned to recontest the seat.
A Newspoll published in The Australian over the weekend found support was evenly split between the LNP and Labor on a two-party preferred basis.

Abbitsmissing....is err......MIA until after Australia Day.....how lucky for Campbell LOL
wow! how well planned to have Abbott out of the way, especially after his presence **Bleep** up the outcome in Victorian State election for the LNP not so long ago.
Don't think even this strategy will save Campbell though

I think many have forgotten the disaster of Labor in Queenland, the floods that should never have happened, the bloated public service that was never going to be sustained and the lies and waste by labor.
How convenient that the left forget all this as soon as they are out of power.
Here we have the same old mess the conservatives have to clean up after labor, maybe one day they'll learn and leave Labor with one and let them clean it up, ermmm, never going to happen.

In 1984, then-Queensland Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen went on a racist tirade against the Labor party, describing them as "10 little n***** boys".
The revelation is one of many to come from 30-year-old Cabinet documents released on Thursday.
The tirade came in the same year Mr Bjelke-Petersen was knighted and awarded an honorary law degree from the University of Queensland.
