It sounds like the opening line of a bad joke: a bear walks into a bar, is told to leave, so it does.
CCTV footage from the Alaskan Hotel & Bar in Alaska shows the furry beast strolling up to the business before warbling inside.
The hotel and bar manager, C Scott Fry, told local news outlet KTOO that he watched the bear walk down the side walk and past the hotel lobby.
"As soon as he got to the bar door, it made a left and walked in like he wanted to have a beer," he said.
But instead of running away, the bartender on-duty Ariel Svetlik-McCarthy, screamed: "No bear! Get out! No! You can’t be in here!"
Possibly sensing he was unwelcome at the premises, the bear turned around and walked right back out.
I thought that bartender un-bear-ably rude!
