My 22yo Grandson will be staying here so I'll take him down to the harbour to watch the Fireworks. It's his first New Year's on this side of Sydney, so I'll make the sacrifice and take him down to Cremorne Point. I hate the crowds though.

Don't know how far off it is, or what I'll be doing. Probibly nothing worth talking about though. Come to think of it though, there will probibly be something going on at the river, would be a good place for it. Couple of parks I visited last summer.

I love fireworks but haven't witnessed personally a professional display in about 35 years.
I might get to the 9pm display at The Entrance depending on crowding; or view from this side of the lake with their reflections doubling the distant display.

I have a bottle of champagne in the fridge since Christmas, that was a gift.
I usuall go for Yellow Glen as well, or just the budget Yellow.
I like the Wolf Blass Red Label Pinot Noir too.
