A work colleague saw me reading thru the Xmas cards and then chucking it out in the bin. She said that was rude.
How so??? Was I suppose to keep these cards for something????

I have mine up till the decos come down. Then they go in the craft box for the kiddies to use.

You can throw them out whenever you want to but perhaps not in front of those who gave them to you. I would consider that tactless.
Placing then in recycle bin would be a better option.

LOL. Thats funny.
I think you should at least keep them till the decos come down as well. Although I have cards that are years and years old so....

So you check to see if there's a little banknote in there, I hope, Bob, before you chuck 'em?

Most people would keep their Christmas cards at least till the day after Christmas wouldn't they?

I have a gold card display stand-on-the-sideboard-type- thingy shaped like a Christams tree (you slide the cards into holders so the whole thing looks like a decorated tree when full of cards but a little sad if you don't get enough to fill it up!).
It normally stays up until all the decorations come down but I keep the bundle of cards until the following Christmas to make sure I send a card next year. I fear that I am stuck in self-organised rut and can't escape.
