i ignore valentines day along with thanksgiving and the 4th of july (and before anyone feels the need to 'instruct me' as to its origins.. i know and i dont care. its a yankee marketing exercise now and didn't exist here apart from re-runs of the Patty Duke Show  )

Lakeland, hubby and I don't much celebrate Valentine's Day either (maybe a card, that's about it), but this is Hunter's first girlfriend, so I think it's lovely he's made an effort and put some real thought into it.
