You're building up to an election and you decide that now (NOW??) is a good time to run with some shonky deal with a company who is profit driven and make that deal part of your 'policy' to build a tent city?

If Morrison was a public servant (I mean a real one) he would be sacked for taking that flight paid for by Toll.

Extremely poor judgement, and if it was a Labor Minister, would have them (MSM, Opposition, and certainly the members of CS that slavishly embrace everything that Abbott & Co. do), baying for blood .... what was he thinking ?

I am staggered that they could be so dumb. And then to hide it by only inviting Murdoch press who wouldn't report the connection is unbelievably underhanded.

Obviously they are getting so desaperte to make some sort of an impact against Rudd that they are clutching at whatever 'bright idea' they can.

It was probably Murdoch's idea. 

He gave up his right to vote in Australia and he should butt out of Australian politics.
