I was completely taken by surprise when I read about this today, in a sewing group. 🙂

My first instinct was WHAT? can you be serious? surely this is a joke? but apparently, it is serious, not a joke.......

then I laughed so much (I am home alone) that I had tears rolling down my face.

I just can't get my head around it !

I have a large amount of ponies here but they are just entertainment for the grandgirls......... it never occurred to me to play with them.

I also have a huge collection of Thomas trains and tracks...... same.

I think it has more to do with being fans of cartoons,  similar to those who collect comic books and attend Superman convention etc.
