I was on a mission to spread the word debra lol
I'm unhappy because I want a government that is progressive, I WANT MY NBN lol and all the other fantastic policies that Labor had.
In sincerity though I wish Tony Abbott all the best and fingers crossed someone will stop him repealing the Carbon Tax etc.

you jump on anyone who dares to say anything other than tony abbott is all that is wonderful.
yes there was an election, yes the majority voted him in, yes the majority feel he is a fit prime minister - but not everyone feels that way.
I for one think he is an inept bumbling post turtle and i will say so if i choose to and won't be told i can't.
Your opinion was overruled BY THE MAJORITY OF THE AUSTRALIAN VOTING PUBLIC!
Live with it til the next election FGS!
What you (or I) personally think of Mr Abbott is totally irrelevant!

Actually icy, you seem to forget that the majority in primary votes shows that most people voted Labor.
And if it wasn't for the National Party selling their souls in 2008 to get their foot in the door by merging with the Liberal Party (after failing to interest the Democrats), the Liberal Party would have been lucky to get a look in this year.
So in fact the MAJORITY voted for a Rudd led Labor Party.
Of course this will lead to an interesting situation over the next couple of decades given that the votes for the National Party have taken a huge dive and are predicted to dwindle to nothing by 2021.

Icyfroth, dont you get that everyone in the public eye is caricatured and it can be amusing even if it is someone you like. So what if Abbots big ears and budgie smugglers are pointed out and laughed at? I'm sure Abbot isn't crying himself to sleep at night (although he may cringe when he hears the word suppository) He is the one who got the main job, let us Aussies enjoy laughing at him as we have with every other politician and member of the Royal family.
