Yes the way people tend to lie to avoid resposabilty these days its a good way to have a witness that tells only the facts as they are.

Thank you Hawk and Carl.
Peter has been a professional driver all his adult life. He does not drink alcohol to protect his liscence, even on festive days, and never had an accident all the years he was driving delivery trucks and buses in Melbourne, but he had a few near misses from idiots running red lights or turning without looking what was behind them.
Last year we were driving home from NSW to Vic. at 4am. We chose that time to avoid the rush hour traffic on the Highway. Would you believe there was nobody else on the road, but a trucky got right on our tail and would not budge even though Peter moved further to the left. He finally overtook our car and sverved to the left so sharply he nearly hit us with the end of the truck and sprayed us with gravel from the roadside. Then he just took off at grat speed.
Peter stopped the car and we both needed a few minutes to regain a clear head.
A dashboard camera would have been handy to at least report the culprit.

That would have been scary Lind. Bloody cowboy highway runners on speed. My hubby gets on the two-way and gives it to them if they are tailgating or being dicks. Scares me because I think, oh boy here we are in a little car, they are in a huge 62 tonne truck and you are stirring them, we're gonna die, LOL. Apart from an exchange of verbal abuse over the two way they usually pull their heads in.

Umm, yeah, I didn't realise it either. Thought the ute was on the wrong side for too long. Now it makes more sense.

Watched it again with specs on, other carriageway is obvious as anything

I didn't get it either! For some reason I didn't see the other carriageway. That is so scary.

I hope all you unobservant people aren't driving when I'm on the road. Sheesh!
