Different in Melbourne.
All the mums drive 4 wheel drives and can't handle the size of 'em.
'Toorak farmers' Drive me nuts at dropoff/pick up times.
And I'm no longer a driver.
Can't drive it, don't buy it

I hate them with a passion.
Why do so many women want a "Sports" vehicle that only ever delivers the kids to school and at such a short distance that they could walk.
I'm a School Crossing Supervisor and I see nearly all the mums driving these abominations.
Why do the stupid decide what all of us end up with.
P. S. Stupid Ugly person makes stupid statements in the article too.
Hate him with a passion too
I know, bloody annoying. I got sideswiped in the carpark by one whose driver couldn't negotioate the tight car space. Why drive such a bloody big vehicle for city traffic?

Try parking in the centre of the street and you have to use the shop mirrors to see if anything is coming as you
can't see past them,(angle park and you have to back out a little bit at a time for the same reason),
Saw 2 today that both turned and their indicator was the top light out of 5 lights and over roof height compared
to my car,(both had white lenses with yellow globes that were hard to see).
Safety wise there are more and more cars where you can't see their indicators,(even had a so called "safe"
new Mercedes last week that turned but I couldn't see their indicator until they had actually turned).
I've seen quite a number of people struggling to get into one at the doctor's and the club especially when they
have an hand, arm or leg injury of some kind,(the worst ones seem to be the elderly ones that have a disabled
stickers and I've seen a few reverse out so that the passenger can struggle into it or get a step out and get in
and the driver comes around their side to pick up the step and put it in the 4WD).
Down the track there could be a lot of car related injuries relating to those "cars",

Ain't that the truth!
I am so sick of these big, high cars.
I drive a Toyota Corolla and seeing anything when you back out from between 2 of these high cars is downright dangerous.
I wish they would have a special spot for the big cars to park or failing that (if the big cars are taking over) how about a special row just for the small ones?

Springy,
A couple of shopping centres around my area already have designated parking zones specifically for small cars,
the zones are the same width, with a shorter length.
